Project Nirvana
Preliminary Synopsis
How do you usher in a new world where everyone can contribute to society based on their unique gifts and talents while aligned with their “higher” calling or put in another way, their life’s higher purpose?
How does one achieve this and have access to all the abundance that the world has to offer without having to worry about the fluctuations in currency, level of education, family background, access to capital?
How can we achieve this in a world where most people on the planet today work purely for money typically in jobs/careers that they truly do not want to be in? contributing only a fragment of what they are capable of?
How do we create a world where individuals can be taught to listen to their inner voice to figure out what they should be doing instead of basing it on something they are taught externally, either through institutions of higher learning or media sources (TV, Radio, Web, Books, etc.)
Even in this world where material goods are not enough to make us happy, many of us have come to understand and realize that there is a certain amount of “money” needed to keep us comfortable in our journey to cultivate a healthy and happy life. How can we achieve “Nirvana” without money?
How do villages and communities that are healthy an thriving attend to every member, regardless of age, sex, or size? without ever needing to exchange money(trade with neighboring clans or tribes excluded)? How do we recreate that equitable feeling and functioning of a village in a global scale?
In order to realize this vision, we must imagine a new world, a place which today may feel like Nirvana, a place far, far away. This reality is not one that can certainly be achieved overnight, but perhaps in future generations (approx 80-100yrs. per generation) we can hope to manifest and refine this utopic ideal at a scale and magnitude that can begin to deliver on the promises of “intentional communities” such as Auroville and others that exist all around the world. How do we make the benefits of “intentional communities” more universally accessible and more universally acceptable.
I have begun to formulate a way where we can begin this transformation. The details of this project will become reality in the coming weeks, months and perhaps years. I look forward to bringing as many creative and caring individuals as possible to this project for I intend this project to be one that will be embraced, applied, and evaluated by as many people as possible around the globe. Please stay tuned and if you are interested in being kept abreast of updates on Project Nirvana, please go to the contact page of this blog and select “Project Nirvana” for the contact reason and you may leave the message box blank or add any comments as you desire.
Many Thanks.
